The Downley Parish Council are a statutory consultee to Planning Applications.

The Parish Council meet every month to discuss planning applications that have been submitted to WDC for consideration. The Parish Council consider every application and make comments where appropriate. Members of the public are encouraged to attend meetings, and there is an opportunity for public questions at each meeting.
