Moyra profileI was born in Northern Ireland and brought up in Liverpool, the Cotswolds and Harrow. I moved to Downley with my husband and three sons in July 2002.

I held the role of Secretary to the Downley Dynamos Junior Football Club from 2004 to 2012 and became a Downley Parish Councillor in May 2011.

I enjoy walking our two German Shorthaired Pointers in and around the woods of Downley and am a passionate Rugby Union fan!



Councillor: Adrian Lenard

Adrian lived in Downley as a boy and returned here in 2015. He joined the Parish Council in 2020. Having run his own business for many years, he recently retired and and is now enjoying playing his part in making Downley as good as it can be. He joined the Parish Council in 2020.

Councillor: Kishor Chandarana

Kishor came to the UK from Uganda in 1973 and joined the department store Liberty of London in security. Over 27 years he worked his way up to Property Services Manager. Kishor, his wife Tara and their two children moved to Downley in 1997.

Having grown up in the North East & Germany l moved to Downley in 1989 & have lived in Commonside since 2003. Working in London I like to enjoy the local countryside whilst walking Hector the cockapoo at weekends.

My name is Vaibhav Naik (Vaib) and I have been living in the Wycombe area for over 6 years now. Prior to that, I have lived in Langley (Berkshire) and Cambridge since moving to the UK in 2009 for work. I was born and I grew up in India where I did my schooling and University.

I am a Wife and a Mum to a daughter and have a lovely pet Labrador and a Cat. I grew up in London, spent six years living in Sweden and returned home to the UK when my daughter was born.

I moved to Wycombe 10 years ago and moved to Downley in 2010. I enjoy photography as a hobby.



Parish Clerk: Mike Kennedy

Born in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, Mike Kennedy attended his first meeting of the Abbots Langley Parish Council at the youthful age of 15. His interest in the public sector explains why he joined Three Rivers District Council in Rickmansworth as a trainee auditor following local government reorganisation in 1974. Promotion to the London Borough of Brent’s Education Department followed in 1980 before a move to his then hometown of Chesham in 1989 as Town Clerk.
