I was born in Sussex and grew up in a village nestling under the South Downs.
Moving to London in 1964 I spent many happy years living and working in the capital in the ‘Swinging Sixties’ which was a time of great change.
We lived in Stokenchurch from 1981 until 2006, and I came to Downley in 2009.
I started work as a computer operator, working for several large companies. I have also worked for the NHS, Marie Curie and Bucks CC in the youth justice team and in adult mental health. I was a housing officer for 28 years, working for Wycombe DC and Red Kite. I am now retired and find myself very busy with three children, five grandchildren and my dog. I spent many years working in the community and feel it’s good to still be involved now I’m retired.
